[NU Sports] Saturdays at Dyche Stadium

Not sure if it was Labor Day weekend (probably was) but you're probably thinking of our Big Ten opener vs. Northern Illinois that Thursday night.

That seemed like more of a nightmare to get to traffic wise than a Saturday game and the attendance wasn't too high, if I remember. Most people still had to work Friday, so I'm not sure we'd benefit from a Sunday or Monday day game (or Friday/Sunday evening game since they have those) on Labor Day weekend. With the NFL usually opening the week after Labor Day, it's a good time to play around with college scheduling a bit to get more fans in the stands and more TV exposure. Wouldn't hurt to give it a try.
