[NU Sports] The view from 3-2

I agree that we have to keep focus on Miami....

BUT

I'm not so sure that Indiana is a win either. They gave Michigan a great game.

If you look at the stats, Indiana won. They outrushed MI, 197 to 149. They outpassed MI 270 to 223. They held the ball longer. They had fewer penalties and won the turnover battle.

If we get even a part of what they took to A2 and we play as erratically as we've played so far, we're toast.

I was concerned about this year because of inexperience on the offensive side of the ball. Turns out that our problems are injuries and inconsistency on defense.

I have to believe that the cats will get one great win against one of those teams listed currently as losses - but we may need it to get to 6-6

Fellow Wildcat Faithful,

There are a lot of things I could second guess from yesterday, but since we all agree a win is a win I'll let it go. We needed that victory in a big way.

Assuming we see continued improvement (especially from the coaches), here's how I see the remaining games.

Miami OH - WIN
MSU - Loss
Indiana - WIN
Penn State - Loss
Iowa - Loss
Illinois - WIN
Wisconsin - Loss

6-6 would be respectable, but I think it leaves us out of the bowl hunt.

Victory & Honor,
Jim
