Not much of a game in Champaign ... thankfully the other contests were closer. Now we'll see if Indiana can put up a fight.

* PENN STATE looked like the dominant team they should have been last week (or at least were after the first quarter last week) ... and Illinois is just done trying out there. Had Sparty not pulled out the W today, it would have been an interesting race to see which one of them could tank faster. There's still a lot of talent in orange and blue but they just don't have any idea how to play together.

As for the wannabe Big Ten team in South Bend, I think it must be something with purple and squandering red zone chances today. How many times was Washington inside the one yard line??? UGH! This is why Fitz and McCall need to sit down this week and go over the red zone offense again - you can't keep settling for three when you should be leading by 20. As for why UDub wouldn't at least try to repeat the Bush Push from Sarkesian's SC days on at least ONE of those 50 attempts with a big QB is beyond me. I've seen the Evil Empire defense shredded against MSU, Michigan and Purdue in the last few weeks - they ain't THAT good.

Good game nonetheless.
