... well, even more than usual.
Kafka takes the heat, but he's the only one having a good quarter with some good plays on our scoring drive. Otherwise, it's been an abysmal effort from NU so far and it's an all-around haze this team is in -- we need to snap out in a hurry.
- For starters, a fumble on the opening play is inexcusible
- The offensive line blocking is atrocious
- The defensive tackling is embarrassing
- The personal fouls have hurt
- And the playcalling by the coaches has been weak at best - especially on our trip to the red zone (three runs with Arby Fields on 1st and goal at the 2??? Not GOING FOR IT from the one inch line on 4th down when you know it's a shootout game???)
NU is in danger of seeing its season collapse here if we don't find someone to wake the team up and make a turnaround play or two in a hurry. McManis??? Wootten?
