[NU Sports] Champs bowl get together

Personally, I hope we can do something the afternoon of the game, as I will be driving up from Sarasota that day, but if the consensus is for something the night before, I would certainly understand.  As I recall the scene from the Citrus Bowl game (vs. Tennessee), there is an area of restaurants/bars not far from the Stadium (where you park), and perhaps we could have an "indoor" (or outdoor) tailgate, weather permitting.  I am probably going with my 20-year-old college sophomore son (Bucknell), who was with me at the Citrus (along with my dad back on January 1, 1997.  I really look forward to finally meeting some of you (other than Roy, whom I met once at an NYC alum function, Willie (an old friend) and Mark (my contemporary at NU, who served ably as ASG President).

By the way, anybody else having Big Ten football withdrawal today?:-)

I don't know what the NU alumni Association has planned or what our local  
U club will do, but I will be happy to organize a get together for listers. 
et  me know if anybody has any ideas..

ne week to Bowl Selection Sunday.  Can't wait.  Assuming we  end up in 
rlando--unless Hawaii really dumps the Badgers (even then I have no  faith in 
he Outback people)--I hope that we Listers who are able to make it to  the 
hamps can plan on some kind of pre-game get-together.
