[NU Sports] Fitz speaks

Does this sound like a coach who has plans to go elsewhere?  

Someone should send this quote to Tom Dienhart and others, who seem to be pushing Fitz
as a possible replacement for Charlie Weis at N*D*.  (Dienhart seems to have a mixed message,
in one note on Rival he says that Notre Dame may never be the factor it was in the past
in college football, no matter who their coach is, on another he says that Fitz would be 
a great pick for N*D*.)

Personally I think the Wall Street Journal's tongue-in-cheek suggestion that the way
to fix the problems at both Michigan and Notre Dame is to merge the two schools was
one of the funniest suggestions I've seen in years.  The Irish Wolverines, with a new
fight song by Iggy Pop?  :-)
