[NU Sports] ESPN Bowl Predictions

While most of the projections I have seen today seem to have us playing the Tarheels at the Champs Sports Bowl, ESPN has now posted 2 predictions (from their "gurus") that state otherwise:  http://espn.go.com/college-football/bowls/projections

Mark Schlabach has us at the Champs, but playing the "U" (Miami, FL), not North Carolina.  And he has Wisky vs. LSU at the Outback.

More tantalizingly, however, Bruce Feldman predicts that NU will be eating Australian Steak on the Barbie, with an all-feline match-up at the Outback, consisting of :  Wildcats vs. Tigers (Auburn).  Mr. Feldman has the Badgers slated to face another set of Tigers (Clemson) at the Champs.  I would love for this prophecy to come true, but deep down I don't believe a word of it.  However, if Bielema's boys fall to the Rainbows, and limp home at 8-4, too, who knows?  While Auburn is, of course, a traditional power, this year's team has been up and down.  They usually run well, but that would go right into the strength of our "D", so hopefully we could give them a good fight.  Not sure how their overall team speed is, which is the biggest fear I would have in playing any SEC squad.

Just as long as we don't have to play N.C. in basketball, any of the above is OK with me.:-)  I'm in Florida through Jan. 2, so I can be a Champ or an Aussie.  After sitting out the Alamo after surgery, this year's model is lookin' good to me--since San Antonio and Tempe seem to be off the radar.
