[NU Sports] Outback Bowl

It's becoming less and less common for bowls affiliated with BCS conferences
to dole out bids early since so much is dependent on who gets the at-large
bids. Technically, a bowl can "release" a team from consideration, so if
the Outback formally released NU and the Champs knew they wouldn't take
Wisconsin, then NU could get a bid. I doubt that will happen, though, since
most of the formal decision-making meetings with the bowl folks are during
the week/weekend leading up to the announcement on Dec. 6, and the bowls
will likely want to keep their options open in case anything weird happens
above them.
