November 25, 1916- Ohio State beat Northwestern 23-3 in Columbus, Ohio, to cap a 7-0 season and
earn the Buckeyes their first Big Ten championship. It was the first of 33 Big Ten titles for
Ohio State, 17 outright and 16 shared championships to date.
