[NU Sports] Basketball debacle

Oh, i wouldn't jump to that conclusion about the Big Ten so quickly. MSU
and Purdue will be national contenders and Minnesota and tOSU will be top 20
but that may be it as far as real depth is concerned. Possibly., Michigan
which I haven't seen and so won't comment on. The rest are definitely worse
than Butler, which is a very legitimate top 10 team so I wouldn't throw this
season away just yet. It's not the absence of Coble's points and rebounds
at this point that is a problem; it's getting use to playing without him in
the lineup and getting use to playing with whomever is in the lineup as his
replacement. That will take several weeks to adjust to and fortunately that
is what the non-conference season is for and Carmody hasn't over-scheduled
in the non-conference, so they will have a chance to develop together before
the Big Ten season starts.
