As an aside a one time President and CEO of the Tribune was an NU Alum  as 
noted below. My wife worked for him when he was with the Dept. of  Justice.

Jack  Fuller (BSJ68)
Jack Fuller became president of Tribune Publishing Company in 1997. He  
started his career as a copyboy at the Chicago Tribune when he was 16 and later 
 served as a Tribune reporter in Chicago and Washington, D.C. In 1986, 
Fuller won  the Pulitzer Prize for editorial writing at the Chicago Tribune, and 
in 1989, he  became editor of the newspaper. He later was appointed its 
publisher and chief  executive officer. Fuller also served as a special 
assistant to the U.S.  Attorney General in 1975 and 1976.
