Maybe not - Sun times cites "strained media relations" as one of the "issues."

I won't comment on all that - but Purple Reign did have trouble working with NU after Chris
Poole left for greener pastures. The "powers that be" when we started made us a "fan site" and
we never could get beyond that tag.

I'm not sure what the climate is at NU for the media, but the comment about strained relations
tells me that Fitz and Carmody's tendency to hold things secret (closed practices during spring
and basketball season) is starting to backfire. 

I know Barnett thought this list leaked some of his game planning and banned media. Maybe Fitz
is reacting to that.

IMNO, it seems that NU has a media problem, and until they open up a bit (stop feeding just the
Trib and WGN), things won't get any better.
