Brad is 100% correct. Ask yourself - if we were 12-0, ranked #1 nationally, where would you want to play ? I want to go to the Rose Bowl, win the eating contest at Lawrey's, visit some famed alum in Hollywood, and get revenge on Southern Cal, no question.

I completely agree on the postseason. I can live with the BCS -- actually one of
he most amusing things about the BCS comes from watching those who hate it so
roth at the pen/computer (hhi SjT) -- but I want to do ditch it to bring back
he old ways.
There can be no such thing OTHER than a MNC under ANY system. Take two points of
any; 1) Does anybody think "playoff" games will be played in cold weather? Yet
any teams are built to survive cold-weather games. 2) There is not nearly any
ind of level playing field with academics and standards now. Even leaving NU
nd Stanford and the like aside, does anybody seriously think the same standards
nd expectations for student-athletes exist at Florida State, Alabama and
klahoma, say, as at Wisconsin, Cal, and North Carolina? (Of course it is even
orse in basketball.)
Play to a conference title and win a bowl game. Everything above that is
ltimately sound and fury signifying nothing.
