Classic obfuscation.  Others are doing so it's fine if we do, i.e., two 
wrongs make a right.  I have attended several other universities and never 
found the degree of snobbery I did at Northwestern.  No doubt Harvard would 
be just as bad if not worse, but that doesn't excuse it.
