It almost seems that the Iowa folks are confusing Ricky Stanzi with Tim Tebow or Sam Bradford. He's a decent quarterback and did have a 17-3 record as a starter, but I think that Iowa's success this year has been more due to their solid defense than to their Stanzi-led offense (with the possible exception of MSU). I don't think that his injury derailed any Heisman candidacy.
Plus, he was knocked out of the game as the direct result of a good defensive play, but no one is crediting us (or Wootten) for that.
Poor Mary Sue Coleman has her own problems in Ann Arbor, I guess.

About Iowa in today's late edition, gives us little credit for beating Iowa
because Stanzi got hurt, but there is one good quote
"Of course they have trouble recruiting," says former Iowa president Mary
Sue Coleman, now the president at Michigan. "They're in the middle of Iowa."
