Yeah, that was reported somewhere last week as well.

Mauro is apparently injured. He was suited up for the first several games (I think he played against Towson), but starting about 3 weeks or so ago, he's been in sweats on the sidelines. He's usually one of the guys signaling in plays. 

I think they really want to avoid burning Watkins' redshirt this late in the season if at all possible. Hence Ebert as the backup.
