Stephen,

You're gonna like this. CBSSports.com has us picked for Insight Bowl in your backyard vs. Texas Tech:
http://www.cbssports.com/collegefootball/bowls/predictions

Much to my chagrin (and Mark Ament's probably, too), they go for Sparty as pick for Champs Sports Bowl, which I would like, as I, too, will be down in Florida at that time.

Nice ESPN blog about Corey W's big game:

too, but unfortunately, the only Big Ten vs. Pac-10 game is
I know ... Stanford and NU, the two brain schools, take out the Pasadena
rontrunners (and thus help both of the jockocracy-rule schools from Columbus
nd SC ... thank your nerd buddies, Bucknuts and Spoiled Children!).

 Insight Bowl rematch against Missouri.
Or an Alamo rematch with Nebraska??? If we beat Illinois and escape the 6-6
ogjam, I don't think we can fall to the Insight (which is unfortunate for me
iving in the Valley of the Sun). I also don't think we crack the Rose/Florida
op four bowls (Champs picks before Alamo) unless the Big Ten somehow gets two
CS teams. So a win next week probably sends us to San Antonio again.
> And, speaking of the Rose Bowl, with Ohio State's win and
Oregon's loss today, it would not at all surprise me to see
an eventual Rose Bowl rematch of (yawn) SC vs. Ohio State.
That could happen if OSU beats Iowa and if Oregon loses
 again, while SC wins out.
Actually, Oregon would have to lose twice, wouldn't they? The Ducks have one Pac
0 loss while SC has two and Oregon has the tiebreak.
The sentimental fave would probably be Arizona - the only Pac 10 school to never
ake a Rose Bowl. They have a final stretch of Cal, Oregon (at home) and SC, so
hey control their fate.
GO CATS!!!
