First we shuck the corn with Iowa.

Then that punk Jimmy Claussen gets SACKED in the end zone by Navy to stop yet another NBC-produced miracle rally for the BCS bound Irish to BEAT NOTRE DAME!

The joys of college football upsets!:)

Of course, the Buckeyes are pulling away from PSU and likely headed to Pasadena now, but I guess no day's perfect.

The only people happier today?

Boise State and TCU.

The Big Ten's two best shots at a double dip lose.
The F'ing Irish and their stacked B(C)S deck lose.
The Big Least and ACC are one-bid leagues.
No one is stepping up from the Big XII.
The SEC is limited two two teams.

It's looking more and more like the B(C)S will have to take both the Froggies and Broncs if they win out, as USC and Bama appear to be the only other at-large bids out there right now.

Of course, upsets can happen and title game losses could muck it up, but right now, the BCS bowl lineup looks like ...

TITLE - Florida vs. Texas
ROSE - Ohio State vs. Oregon
SUGAR - Alabama vs. TCU
ORANGE - Georgia Tech vs. Cincinnati
FIESTA - Southern Cal vs. Boise State

The Rose, as always, will deliver ratings and fans (especially given how OSU hasn't been there in a long time despite all the success recently) and the title game should get plenty of hype.

But the other three games could be abysmal for attendance and ratings.

Hogeyes lose. Irish lose. CATS WIN! It doesn't get much better.
