Nice FG - I thought they had spoiled it by not running to get yardage on 3rd and long.

Still lots of time to go - can NOT turn it over or let Iowa break a big play on special teams.

Not sure why we try and run Concannon to the outside, but otherwise some nice play calling.

Whatever happens, both Kafka and Persa deserve big praise for this game after the criticism last week (especially that on Persa). Kafka is showing a lot of guts here and Persa did as well, absorbing some BIG hits on his runs and in the pocket.

One more comment - every 3rd and 1, our O-line (much maligned by myself and others) has absolutely DOMINATED the line of scrimmage and surged ahead for the first down at least three times.
