Forget the Florida/SEC cabal, the Iowa/Big Ten shenanigans are in full effect!

Sure, we got a holding call to take back their TD, but the "high hit" on McManis after the Iowa guy LOWERED HIS HEAD INTO McMANIS is the most insipid call I have seen in a long time.

Now the teams have just exchanged turnovers and it should be an interesting second half.

I don't feel too bad for Iowa fans, as we had pretty much the same thing happen to us last week with Kafka going out when we had the lead against PSU -- plus, like OU earlier in the year vs. BYU, if your defense is as good as people say it is, you should still be able to beat BYU or NU without your QB.

I do feel bad for Stanzi, as you hate to see a game turn on an injury ... but this one sure has at the half now. We need to buck up the run D to stop Iowa and not have any more turnovers on offense to let them sneak in (they beat PSU without much on offense).

Should be an interesting half of football at Kinnick ...
