After a year of inactivity I decided to turn over Purple Reign to someone
who can expand our coverage beyond that done by the regular staff writers
and myself.
I am still going to write commentaries from time to time, and will draw on
my connection with the NFF to update their programs that effect NU but I'll
only be one of the various writers for the site.
Expect the new guy, David Vranicar to really step up the recruiting info
effort. He's worked for several Colorado papers doing sports, and seems to
have the drive to get PR back to where it was when we first moved to
Scout.com.
For the record, I just had too many things going on in my life to continue
to publish the site. I tried to get the news digest going again in March,
and just don't have the morning time to put it together now.
I may revive the Pregame Intel Reports, but again, its a matter of time and
it is probable that David will have his own ideas as Publisher and Editor.
So, stay tuned to Purple Reign - purplewildcats.com is not going anywhere,
we're just changing the guy typing the changes. (and the Football Roster is
complete, allowing you to look at the eligibility chart and try to figure
out who NU is recruiting this year...)
Thanks to all who helped in the past -
Rsl/Coach Roy
