[NU Sports] baseball program

Through Sunday, NU's baseball record is won 12, lost 30 with 5 cancellations.  I find it hard to reconcile that record with the (NU's) President's Directive on Athletics which reads in part "Northwestern associates success in its athletic program with the welfare of its student participants. A truly effective athletic program produces student-athletes who succeed in their academic work as well as in their chosen sport... " which implies success in athletics as well a academics.  Maybe I'm the only person who cares about the baseball program.  Having had a few players who made it into the majors in itself doesn't signify a successful program. In my opinion, NU should make whatever changes are needed to create a successful program or punch out of it and put the effort somewhere else.
