?? Good work on hailtopurple.com in regards to 2010 schuedule.? Here I thought it was my sieve brain playing tricks, but NU had Ohio U. schueduled in 2010; now it's on hold.? Whether this is on Ohio U.'s account, or NU's, who knows?
?? This I know:? the 2010 game vs. Ohio U. was originally schueduled at Ohio U., constituting the first time we were to visit Athens.? Quietly, the game was switched to Evanston, now it's off or on hold.? A story to be told, no doubt.?? Good off-season fodder.
? It's common knowledge that the MAC Commish sent a directive to his schools to quit playing so many "pay check" games, and encouraged MAC schools to schuedule 3 year series whereas the BCS school in question would visit the MAC school in exchange for 2 games at the BCS school.? As we know, the only Big 10 schools that you'll never see at a MAC home game is OSU and Michigan. Even Penn St. throws an every 5 year bone to Temple, as huge number of ?PSU?fans flock to Philadelphia.?(Lincoln Field, or Veteran's Stadium before it was torn down).
?? Maybe NU wants to look for a better non con opponet for next year?
????? C'mon Spring Ball!!??????? Go Cats!!?????? Eric

We still have one game to add in 2010. We'll be playing two nonconference games
on the road in both '10 and '11. And, don't you love the way we finish the 2011
season?! We're hosting Rice on the Saturday of Thanksgiving weekend. Wonder how
many people will show up for that one, particularly given the fact that the
students will be on vacation and it will be going up against games such as
Michigan-Ohio State.
