[NU Sports] Softball, Big Ten Network rant

Last night here in Louisville, they preempted part of the end of the Siena-Louisville game to switch between the other games that were concluding (MSU-USC, Marquette-Missouri). During that time, Louisville went from being down 2 to being up 5 but we saw none of it here. The station (WLKY) was besieged with calls immediately ran a scroll saying that they had no control over this, it was a decision by CBS Sports in NY, and asked fans to direct all anger to a provided phone number and email address. Hard to understand why CBS made this decision (or at least did not leave it to the local market's discretion) but I suspect there were few in this market that were hoping CBS would switch away from the nailbiter UofL-Siena game to either of the other two games.

Just like the Raiders-Jets "Heidi Game" in 1968.

>So we're watching the NU-Michigan softball game. It's tied up 5-5 in the sixth, game is going on, and the BTN decides to switch to ... wait for it .... women's gymnastics. I kept waiting for them to realize they had made a mistake and switch back, but at least by the time I gave up, they had not.
