looms from the NIT. At Tulsa? Good night. That's a place that will be excited about being in the NIT, I suspect. The key to advancing in the NIT is playing the teams that are heartbroken to be there  -- Penn State, St. Mary's, San Diego State, say.

As for the Big 10 in the tournament, I suspect Wisconsin got in over Penn State because UW beat Penn State twice. Also PSU's schedule was atrocious. And Temple winning the Atlantic 10, plus Mississippi State in the SEC, may have snatched the spot for the Nits.

Personally I hope the Illini are eliminated immediately, dOSU right behind and then it'd be nice to see one of others make a run. Everybody seems flawed in a key way to me, though. BT teams would be helped by loose officiating.
