Aaah, that's where it pays to be on the west coast. :) Still, even back in the eastern zone, I'd have had to stay up for the finish after the end of regulation. Amazing way to kick off the first tourney weekend of the madness!

Should be a fun weekend - with all the upsets yesterday in Big East and Big XII land, I think MSU has a slight opening for a top seed if they run through the tourney.

The bigger question is how many Big Ten teams will get in. My brother (a PSU alum) is convinced we'll only get six and the Nits will be out. I'm thinking we have seven for sure and that Minny is squarely on that bubble (still, 22 wins and a victory over Louisville HAS to get you in!).

We'll see Sunday how the league does - and hopefully how NU gets a home NIT game in the first round! Maybe Creighton in round 1 with ND in the bracket for a possible second-round game?
