The situation you describe is about what actually happened versus DePaul
in the 1983 NIT. We were ahead by a point with a few seconds left.
Their desperation final shot came on a possession decided by the
possession arrow, making it all the more bitter.
I vaguely remember that the possession arrow came into play after a
defensive tie-up; soon thereafter the rule was changed so that this type
of situation would have given us the ball.

I think we were on the road against OSU in 1983 when tied in OT with a
few seconds left and we had to forfeit a jump ball because of the
possession arrow. The Bucks got the ball and made the winning shot
I may have" mis-remembered" my facts so if anyone else remembers the
