I also think it would be wonderful to see Kafka throw the ball effectively. That would be best for him and the team.
I'm just not nearly as optimistic as others and agree with Coach that we are likely to see a different QB finish the season than the one that started it. If that happens, I think that a bowl game is going to be a struggle.

Well, the key is Kafka...
If he is the running fool that beat Minny, then it will be a long season, once the Big 10 gets started.
If he is the guy who was a star in Chicago - then watch out Big 10, because he will run and pick apart those defenses looking for a run only QB.
In any case, if he falters, watch for an early appearance by Dan Persa, but ran this thing all the way to a state championship game in PA (yeah, he
lost) and from what I read, is the real deal.
But then, so was....

Amen! Give this man whatever he wants - he IS our JoePa!
The bad news is that the national media may finally be starting to realize
that - Fitz finally got some overdue praise for guiding this program after
the Walker tragedy in some of the college preview mags I've been reading
lately. Getting him locked down through 2015 now will hopefully stop the
poaching from other schools (or at least the idea of it).
Still putting the touches on my season preview -- tough to see us getting 9
wins again, even though I think we could be a better team overall. Gotta get
those four NC wins and kick the two bucket schools and move on from there.
Is it football season yet?
GO CATS!!!
