Never really saw much about it down here either -- it was pretty clear Lute wasn't happy how KO, the "heir apparent," handled his year in charge with three pretty high draft picks on the team and mediocre results.

But then again, Lute basically messed up the program that he built for so long as well with his messy divorce, a lost recruiting year and some NCAA investigations.

I asked a friend at work why her Wildcats were just letting everything slide - she just shrugged and said that it's Lute's court and Lute's team. So I guess he's too much of a diety in Tucson for them to dig much into this story.

Or they're just happy KO isn't on their sidelines ... and that they dodged a bullet by not hiring Floyd.

I think U of A got a good guy in Xavier's Miller, but Lute pretty much wiped out the cupboard there, so they may be building awhile. But it's not the mess KO is walking into at SC.
