August 30th, 1999 Matt Hartl lost his battle with Hodgkin's. With the ten-year anniversary of his passing coming up, several of his teammates decided to organize an endowed scholarship in his name. Aaron and I wanted to help his teammates meet their goal of raising $50,000 by hosting a fundraiser. So open up those wallets and please join us. 

There will be several ways for you to donate at the function: 

1) Wristbands for the fundraiser will be sold at the door. The wristband will cost $30 per person. The wristband will cover domestic bottles, wine and soda and will last three hours, starting at 3 p.m. Appetizers will also be included. A portion of the $30 will be donated toward the fundraiser. 

2) Straight Cash! All the appropriate paper work will be available. This money will be tax deductible and you can make your donation with cash, check, or credit card. 

3) Lastly, BUT by far the most fun, we will be having a raffle and silent auction. The silent auction will run from 4-6 p.m. At 6:00 we will announce the winners of the silent auction. After the winners are announced we will be raffling off more prizes. Raffle tickets can be purchased at any time up until the first prize is raffled off. YOU MUST BE PRESENT TO WIN. 

Just to name a few of the prizes: 
*A 3-pack of Bears vs. Packers tickets for opening weekend at Lambeau 
*Chicago Cub Geovany Soto autographed baseball and bat 
*A 4-pack of White Sox tickets with parking pass and dinner at the Stadium Club 
*A chartered fishing expedition on Lake Michigan 
*Several weekend stays up at resorts in beautiful Door County, Wisconsin 
and MUCH MUCH MORE!!! 

Right now, all raffle tickets and silent auction items must be purchased with cash or check. We are working on accepting credit cards. 

This is an invitation to join us, but we are still looking for donations for the silent auction/raffle so please e-mail either of us if you'd like to donate. We'd love whatever you'd like to give! 

We hope you can join us on June 27th. We plan on having a good time for a good cause.
