While the media and so-called experts are all clamoring for the Big Ten to get with the times and add a conference title game, something rather interesting happened today at the Big XII media day.

Texas coach Mack Brown said he wants the Big XII to do away with the divisions and title game thing altogether.

I can't blame him on how the Horns were robbed of a shot last year after beating OU on the field ... but it might seem a bit selfish to say it now.

Still, until the Big XII, SEC or BCS can figure out a way to consistently get their best two teams matched up in the title game, can we please stop trying to force the Big Ten to emulate a failed system?
