[NU Sports] 56 year-old question

I realize that almost anybody who witnessed this would?have to be at least 70 years old now, but maybe there's someone out there (or somebody who read about it).

The Lansing State Journal stated that this was "the Wildcats' first road win over a top-10 team since 1953"

Does anybody recall that game ?? The opponent ?? How it happened ?

(Forgetting for the moment the sadness of not beating a top-10 team on the road in almost 60 years...)
