I would say:

one I-AA game, but against a bad team. No more New Hampshires. Grab the cheap win. (always at home)

one MAC-type team. (this would include San Jose State or the like) Or substitute a service academy. (always at home except home-and-home with service academy)

one Brain Bowl (Dook, Vandy, Cal, Stanford, Rice, Wake, BC) (home and home)

one good, solid test against a mid-level BCS-league team. Possibilities: Missouri, Oregon State, Pittsburgh, North Carolina, Georgia Tech, Rutgers, South Carolina. (home and home)

I would gladly play N*** D*** in a home-and-home. Otherwise, no.
