[NU Sports] Philips proposes Cats to play Illinois at Wrigley

I think Wrigley is a great idea for perhaps a one off but not a permanent
site for Illinois and moving the series to Soldier Field permanently means
we give up home field to the Illini in perpetuity. The bozos in Champaign
may not see it that way, but it's clear to me that they based on our
attendance now, they would draw 70% of the stadium every year.

To answer Michael's question, the Cotton Bowl and Jaguar's stadium (whatever
corporate name it has) are divided equally between the schools every year.
The only impact the home team has is in the color of the uniforms and maybe
the locker room. The stadium owner bids for the game and guarantees a
number to the schools each year, divided equally between them.

No reason that couldn't work for Wrigley if Phillips wanted to pursue it but
I would rather it be a more limited option and use it as home game with a
nonconference opponent in an attempt to draw in Chicago fans.
