You're right, Tom. Not quite as good, but for the most part, corporate
parent CBS has left them alone, format-wise. They still play anything
that could remotely be categorized as rock, with a healthy dose of blues
and a bit of jazz thrown in. Richard Milne still does Local Anesthetic,
highlighting Chicago-area bands. In addition to Terri Hemmert, Lin
Brehmer, Frank E. Lee, Tom Marker, Mary Dixon, Marty Lennartz, and Wendy
Rice (still doing Saturday Morning Flashback, one of the greatest
regular radio shows ever) are all still around.
