I wonder if the Bowl committees who passed up NU regret it now or more importantly learned anything for the next time there is a choice about which Big Ten team to invite.

> The Nielsen Ratings have the Alamo Bowl at 4.47 million homes, 6.07 million
> viewers, at #2 for the week of Dec. 29 - Jan. 4 (first place was the Holiday
> Bowl, which took place on Dec. 30th between Oregon and Oklahoma State).
>
> Other CFB bowls that appear on the list are the Chick-Fil-A Bowl (LSU vs.
> GT), coming in at #4 with 3.85M/5.63M, and the Outback Bowl (Iowa vs. South
> Car.) coming in at #9 with 3.03M/4.09M.
>
> For those wanting to rub more stats in Iowa's face, that means NU's
> appearance in the Alamo Bowl brought in 1.44 million more homes/ 1.98
> million more viewers and wasn't beat out by the likes of iCarly and WWE Raw.
