If I was a CEO and was looking at that market (sports viewers), putting a
million dollars or so up for name sponsorship of a minor bowl would
seem at least as attractive as putting 2-4 times that up for a Super Bowl
ad that might wind up as Advertising Age's 'worst ad', especially if the
bowl's tie-ins are with conferences in areas I want to target.  

However, I have to report that one of my stock market rules has been to 
watch for companies putting their names on stadiums and stay as far away 
from their stock as possible.
