>  I was going to do a general post on the conspicuous abundance of empty seats at virtually every bowl--other than the Granddaddy in Pasadena that I have seen on the tube the past 10 days., but, as usual, my fellow Listers have gotten ahead of the "curve".? Clearly, the economy is impacting on the attendance in a number of venues.? 

The Cotton Bowl appears to have a pretty good crowd on hand.  And the game
is turning out to be suprisingly entertaining.
