[NU Sports] Longest streaks still remaining...

We are going to win a bowl game some year. The fact that we're getting
there with some regularity now will give us the same statistical
advantage that got ND over the hump.

The streak that I would like to see us break is a WIN a game in the NCAA
tourney. That may require us to make a couple of trips too.

That's not because we are in BB season.

It is because our BB program has been down for so long and this would
indicate that we have returned to the ranks of the competitive.

No, the 1971 win over OSU was indeed in Columbus (Agase was coaching).
The last win prior to that was 1958 in Evanston, I believe.

The streak I would like most to see broken is the bowl streak,
especially now that hated ND finally broke their 9 bowl game losing
streak. It's tough to think how close NU was this past year, but at
least Fitz has NU in a reasonable position to get another shot next year
(which would be only the 2nd time in school history with back-to-back
bowl appearances... but, I know, don't get too far ahead of myself
here).
