Here's another (sort of) related dubious achievement:
Last year's men's and women's basketball teams had combined records of 2-34, with both wins coming very late in the season. That will be hard to match by anyone, I'd guess.

IndyStar: Ten wins total? It's going to be close
http://blogs.indystar.com/hoosiersinsider/archives/2009/02/ten_wins_total.html
IU might not win 10 games combined between football and basketball.
"...Since 1950, a Big Ten Conference school has combined for nine wins or
less in football and basketball a total of 19 times.
<snip>
Of the 19 times it has happened, Northwestern has accounted for 14 of those
times..."
Another infamous stat we lead in.
