[NU Sports] What Happened? (was: "NU the 12th tallest team inthenation...")

I was astounded that we were so far down at the half - and that we were so
close after 10 mins.

When I finally found the broadcast (on WIND) on the web, they were
questioning why Moore was on the bench all night - that he was sick came out
during the post game, and that Coble hadn't practiced all week came out in
the paper this AM.

I know that for the past 3 weeks we've had someone really sick leading up to
a game, which maybe explains why we seem to run out of gas at the end
lately.

What ever happened to vitamin B-12 shots?

The only thing I would add is that we were also playing on the road.
The rims are always tighter in the other guy's place. As Dennis said,
we were a step slow all night.

They couldn't shoot, couldn't rebound, and couldn't play defense, in
part because several are suffering with the flu. As the announcers said
last night, it never seems the walk-ons ever get sick, just the
starters.
