Luis has been fighting injuries for the past two years, and has had to play
the hybrid inside-outside DE game without the team's top pass rusher - Shawn
Merriman.

His primary job is to tie up the tackle and maybe the guard too allowing the
rush MLB a lane to the QB. He was not drafted and put in the left DE to sack
QBs, at least not in the scheme the Chargers appear to run.

I wonder if the opinion on the page is shared by those inside the Chargers,
or is just some internet guy blowing smoke.

3. Defensive End/Tackle.  Luis Castillo is one of the most overrated players
in football. Seriously, he is stealing money from the Chargers. Being
articulate and charismatic doesn't put quarterbacks on the ground
** Ouch, but they did say he was a nice guy ;-)
