I think being in the # 2 category would be a worthy goal, and not one that I
would call mediocre. But we are'nt there yet--"Kinda /sorta" is the best we
can say-- We dont go to a bowl game every year, nor do I think we will (at
least not as of yet)
The last time we contended for the BT title was 8 years ago--I think we could
contend at some point over the next several years--but it would be a one
shot deal with several pieces falling into place for us, and at the same time one
shot problems hitting OSU ,Michigan and Penn State- And we would also need
to have none of the other teams in the conference have a very hot year out of
nowhere -I also would guess we would need an easy schedule (where we happen to
avoid one or 2 of the big powers in the conference in a given year) With
all of these occurring we would contend and might even win the conf title, but
right now my guess is that this would only happen rarely as opposed to
"sometimes"--But then again you need to set goals at least a little higher than
you think you can attain, and Fitz is the best guy for that job
