[NU Sports] Loss #1 - redux

Not to be flip, but I thought I saw a few sparks of potential in our 7 foot
guy. Playing against Tisdale made him look sloppy, but when Rowley was in
and figuring out position, they slowed the inside attack of the Ill-nois.

 

Unfortunately, Rowley is probably 3 years away from being being a "Tisdale,"
and he doesn't have 3 more years.

We played pretty well tonight.  Shurna was very good, and Thompson was his
usual solid self.  Crawford is the real deal and may be outstanding once he
shakes off froshitis.  Add the traditional 1 under the "L" column for an NU
Big Ten opener.  We lost because Illinois has a center, and we don't.  We
could have a lot of these come-up-short type games this season and will win
a few of them.
