[NU Sports] amid the ticket concerns

You donated.  What you do beyond that is your concern.

I have often thought of coming down to a bowl game with NU tickets and buying day of the game 50-yard line seats.  I was kicking myself at the Rose Bowl for buying scalped seats in Chicago and seeing all the USC fans selling extras in prime locations for cheap.

The only reason I don't buy better seats is I really enjoy meeting other NU people.

Btw I got a robo-call from Fitz requesting ticket purchases on my answering machine this afternoon.  Scary.

I am a little nervous to even post this, given the vitriol some have for not
buying thru the NU allotment, but we have an extra ticket on the 50-yard
line, NU side, section 110, lower club section, nineteen rows from the
field. Available for face value. We are a group of five NU fans with six
tickets, one of our friends can't go. And oh, before anyone complains --
between the five of us we have bought and donated 12 tickets thru the NU
allotment!
