I'm not sure what PSU deal was coming to the BT but can the conference just boot them at their discretion or does PSU have to agree?  

In any event I doubt PSU would be interested in going back to being an INDY.  IF ND is looking to abandon that status it is hard to believe any school save perhaps the spoiled children would want to go the Indy route

Easy.  Notre Dame with Missouri a distant second.  They are the only logical 
choices.  The other three are eastern teams and should stay there.  Better 
yet, drop Penn State and add Notre Dame AND Missouri.
