Thanks for all the great recommendations.

As far as tickets, shouldn't we be buying through NU to make sure that NU's allotment gets sold?

Jeff

Subject: [NU Sports] hotels

I checked my usual places in St. Pete beach and most want 2 nights like the
Tradewinds, I go over there 2 or 3 times a year for a long weekend, it is
still worth $200 a night for the best urban beach in America, but if you
want to stay in Tampa look for the area around the convention center,
Aquarium, etc, known as waterside, the Marriot is the big hotel but there are
others. Avoid Ybor city except for the Columbia restaurant, Westshore is OK but
out on a peninsula and away from the scene. Best restaurant in town is
Berns steakhouse, or side Berns next door. For tickets, do a google search
for Raymond James stadium seating charts and you get 10 different ticket
brokers, all asking $100 - $200 for front row seats on our side.
