[NU Sports] You gotta love college football

Indeed - a terrific weekend of football, starting with the Civil War and ending with Nebraska-Texas and GaTech-Clemson.

I know it will be Bama-Texas, two tradition-rich programs and a big game, but you gotta feel for TCU, Cincy and Boise ... they had to be hanging on edge with that last kick and hoping McCoy lofted that pass just a bit more. Suh and the Husker D were just amazing.

Looks like Bucky's ready to pound it, so unless the good ole' Hawaii refs get flag happy, Wisconsin should win this one.

BCS: Alabama vs. Texas - Big names, big stars and a big game
ROSE: Ohio State vs. Oregon - Two best bowls in Pasadena this year
SUGAR: Florida vs. Cincy - Loser has to go to South Bend?
ORANGE: Georgia Tech vs. TCU - Great coaching battle
FIESTA: Iowa vs. Boise State - Another nice coaching matchup

OUTBACK: Wisconsin vs. Auburn - Lots of offense here
CHAMPS: Northwestern vs. Clemson - We gotta stop that RB of theirs
ALAMO: Michigan State vs. Texas Tech - Could be a fun shootout
INSIGHT: Minnesota vs. Missouri - Will the Gophers show up?
