Glad to see Bama shut down the Gatorthugs - they finally looked impressive and really exposed the Gators, who really had only one tough test this year at LSU.

This Big XII game is a heck of a defensive struggle ... I have no idea how Nebraska lost earlier this year to Iowa State and such, but Suh and that D are incredible. Texas looked so explosive last week and is fizzling this week.

Should the Huskers get a break and win, I wonder what would happen -- TCU and Boise have strong claims (TCU looks like the most complete team outside of Bama and Boise has the biggest win of the unbeatens outside of Bama), but I have a bad feeling it might be Florida back there. Hopefully no Cincy, as they really looked bad their last three games. Even if Texas holds on, I think TCU and Boise have legit claims.

As for our ACC game, it looks like GaTech is pulling away and the Bowden Plan will be complete. It will be interesting to see who the Champs Bowl goes with ... Miami has the name and the in-state cache, but Clemson probably fills more seats. Either way, we'd have a tough task. Of course, we could cheer for Hawaii tonight and hope for Tampa.:)
