[NU Sports] Rahwr

Had the same experience is talking with a co-worker from our Durham office.
Though she is a big NC fan, she remarked how shocked she was at how far the NC State program has fallen. I suggested that it could have been the NU has just gotten a lot better.
Unfortunately until we get into the dance, we are going to continue to deal with the bias of low expectations.
Same thing happened in '95 with the football team. Took most of the season for casual fans to acknowledge that NU was winning rather than the other team having a bad day.

I was ticked off during the bumpers into the breaks because they were whatever good play NCS did instead of some of ours that kept us ahead.
If you only watched the breaks, it appeared that NCS was winning handily, but they didn't show much of Juice and the Nash breaking them down.
ESPN's script for the game was a win for NC State - and they showed their bias in what they picked as they headed for commercial.
As the game wound down and it was pretty obvious that the Cats were going to win, the announcers kinda changed their tune, but the ACC wins them all tune never really went away.

Those who just watched the bumpers thought NC St won?
Guess it was a good thing that NU kept its eyes on the fenders and the rest of the chassis.
